![]() I've applied my micro-habits principle and completed the modest goal of two ten minute sessions, back to back, each using a different learning resource. I've had a really productive month's run of Russian study. For a life of flow, it works like an enzyme on one's mental state, giving you the ability to quiet the nagging, busy, frontal mind enough to relax into other flow activities. I let my daily habit slip slightly towards the end of 2020, and it's been a smooth reintegration nearly every day, especially immediately after the mobility. A practice I've long been a huge advocate of, I'm convinced that for most personality types it can serve as vital weigh-bearing wall in the architecture of life. I was almost deterred by instructor Tom Morris's distressingly chirpy demeanour and worrying obsession about 'symmetrical buttock clenching' (is asymmetric clenching even a thing.?) The little routine takes less than five minutes. ![]() This one appeared to be quick and popular. It's a deep and esoteric subject I wasn't prepared to over-research, so I took the scientific approach to formulating my routine by spending all of seven minutes Googling 'ultimate morning mobility routine'. ![]() Mobility and flexibility have been the weakest links in my fitness for years.
